The Rocks

When you visit the Sydney, one of the most attractive places you shouldn't miss it--The Rocks! The Rocks is famouse for its histrical value because this is the first European settlement. The oldest buliding--Cadman's Cottage in Sydney and the oldest street--Geroge Street in Australia, some interesting museums, etc. all of amazing buildings and places in the Rocks.

I am going to visit the Cadman's Cottage and Susannah Place.

Earth Hour

Earth Hour is a very good activity which calls for people to switch off any electrical things, such as, lights, TV, computer, etc. during 7:30pm to 8:30pm on March 31 (Saturday). This action aims to reduce greenhouse effection in Sydney, but also hope more and more relize that they can do something easily and protect our enviroment.
I supposed that's a very good idea. I am going to join this action during the special time mentioned. Now more and more people are ware of our enviorment are getting worse and worse due to our human being so greed behaviors. Everyone who lives on the earth should have responsibility to protect our earth villege, we can do some little things from our daily life, such as, instead of driving car, we can try to take the public transportation; try to not use plastic bags as much as possible; save water-take a shorter shower, fix your leaking taps, etc.

Well, we learn a sentence from Marion--Prevention is better than the cure. Maybe some people watched the Hollywood movie--The Day After Tomorrow, in fact, the things would be happened possible if the Global Warming has been continuting. So everybody should do something about stopping Global Warming, Greenhouse effection, etc. from now on from any little or small or simple thing.
